The RAAHC’s Firepower Partners

The Firepower Seminar Series is proudly delivered in collaboration with key organisations that support the preservation, study, and advancement of Australia’s military history and heritage. These partnerships reflect a shared commitment to honouring service, fostering scholarship, and engaging the wider community as part of the Australian Army’s 125th Birthday commemorations.

RAAHC

The Royal Australian Artillery Historical Company (RAAHC) is a public company and a volunteer not- for- profit organisation of members. The Company’s core purpose is to promote the significance of Australia’s Artillery, its history, and heritage. The RAAHC supports the Royal Australian Artillery’s Regimental Committee and other interested stakeholders in this purpose, including through convening the Firepower seminar series during the Australian Army’s marking of 125 years of service in 2026.

The Australian Army

The Australian Army was established on 1st of March 1901 and in 2026 will mark 125 years of service. Throughout the year, events and activities will be held across Australia to honour our people, celebrate our history, and recognise our enduring commitment to the Australian community. Reflecting their complementary purpose, the RAAHC’s Firepower seminar events are acknowledged and incorporated within the Australian Army’s 125th Birthday proceedings. The Australian Army Research Centre and Australian Army History Unit are supporting through publication of the Series proceedings, and access to publication of related peer-review articles in the Australian Army Journal.

MHHV

Military History & Heritage Victoria (MHHV) aims to encourage interest in Australian military history and heritage in all of its forms; to develop and engage in activities related to its research, preservation, promotion, education and commemoration; promote cooperation within the military history and heritage community and advance the interests of its members in the community at large.

NMAFC

The Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia (NMAFC) is one of Adelaide’s most distinguished private members’ clubs—an enduring place of welcome for ladies and gentlemen who value tradition, culture, and genuine connection. ANI

The Australian Naval Institute (ANI) is the leading forum for naval and maritime affairs in Australia. The Institute achieves this through major membership events, particularly the annual Vernon Parker Oration and the Goldrick Seminar; through the ANI website; and through its printed publication, the Australian Naval Review.

The ANI was formed as a self-supporting and non-profit making organisation to provide a forum for current and former Naval Members and others interested in maritime affairs.

The main objectives of the Institute are: to encourage and promote the advancement of knowledge related to the Navy and the maritime profession; and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas concerning subjects related to the Navy and the maritime profession.
